Jacob George

Jacob is a senior Finance major who joined the Fund in the Fall of 2022. He previously covered Industrials as an Associate Analyst and Financials & Real Estate as a Lead Analyst. Following his sophomore year, Jacob studied Art History & Environmental Science at Temple’s Rome campus and interned at Members Wealth Management. He interned at FT Partners in its Investment Banking division this past summer and will join the Firm following his graduation. Outside of the Fund, Jacob enjoys coaching ice hockey, listening to jazz, exploring Philadelphia, and spending time with his friends & family.

Ankush Somenhalli

Ankush is a Finance and Economics dual major at Temple, currently the Portfolio Manager of the Owl Fund. He joined the Fund in the Fall of 2022, covering Healthcare and then Industrials. Previously, Ankush has interned in investment banking with Wells Fargo and Bryant Park Capital. Outside of the Fund, Ankush enjoys poker, chess, reading, and following Philadelphia sports.

Fox Fund Directors

Alex Sobkowiak

Alex is a senior Finance major who joined the Fund in the Spring of his sophomore year. He previously covered Information Technology as an Associate Analyst and Consumer & Communication Services as a Lead Analyst before becoming a Fox Fund Director last Spring. Alex has previously interned at PGIM Fixed Income as a Credit Research Summer Analyst and Odyssey Capital Advisors as an Investment Analyst, where he will return full-time after graduation. Outside of the Fund, Alex likes to play golf & ultimate frisbee, watch Philly sports, travel, and spend time with friends.

Ryan Doughty

Ryan is a senior Finance major who joined the Fund his sophomore year and served two semesters. In the Fund, he was an Associate Analyst on the Energy & Utilities team before becoming the Lead Analyst of the Consumer & Communication Services team. This school year, Ryan will serve as a Director for the Fox Fund. This summer, he interned with KeyBanc as a Summer Investment Banking Analyst, where he will return full-time post-graduation. In his free time, Ryan enjoys following Pittsburgh sports, playing golf, and staying in shape.

Zach DeVice

Zach is a senior Finance major in the Fox School of Business. He has previous experience in the Owl Fund as an Associate Analyst on the TMT and Industrials & Materials teams, as well as the Lead Analyst of the Information Technology team. He has held internship positions at Metro Global Ventures and Glenmede. This summer, Zach interned at Bank of America as a Debt Capital Markets Summer Analyst and will return to the Firm full-time after graduation. Outside of school, he enjoys working out, watching Philly sports, and spending time with his family.

Jacqueline Neckers

Jackie is a senior Finance Major who joined the Fund in the fall semester of her junior year. She previously covered Commodities as an Associate Analyst before becoming the Lead Analyst of Consumer & Communication Services team. Jackie has previously interned at Macquarie Asset Management on its Sustainable Investing and Global Listed Infrastructure teams. Outside of the Fund, she currently serves as the President of her sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring Philadelphia. In the summer of 2023, Jackie returned to Macquarie to intern on its Energy Sales and Trading desk.

Logan Guzzie

Logan is a senior Finance and Accounting major who joined the Fund in the fall of his junior year. He previously covered the Financials & Real Estate sector and the Commodities sector as an Associate Analyst. He is also a CFA Level 1 Candidate who will be sitting to write the exam in May. Upon graduating, he will be joining Ultimus LeverPoint Private Fund Solutions as a staff accountant. Outside of the Fund and finance, he enjoys playing guitar, studying German, going for runs, and reading the classics.

Katelyn McKenzie

Katelyn is a senior Finance major who joined the Fund in the Spring of her sophomore year serving two semesters as an Associate Analyst on the Industrials team and Consumer & Communication Services team. Last summer Katelyn interned at LBC Credit Partners as a Summer Private Credit Analyst and will return to the Firm full-time after graduation. Outside of school, she is the Social Coordinator of Temple Newman Center and enjoys spending time golfing, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, trying new coffee shops, and going down the shore.

Temple Finance Association Executives

Dhruv Patel

Dhruv is a junior Finance and Accounting double major who joined the Fund in the spring of his sophomore year. He first served as an Associate Analyst on the Healthcare team, then a Lead Analyst on the Information Technology team, and is currently the Lead Analyst on the Financials & Real Estate team. Along with the Owl Fund, Dhruv has been heavily involved with the Temple Finance Association, serving as the President for 2023-24 school year. Additionally, he co-founded the Temple Private Equity Association in Fall 2023. During his sophomore summer, Dhruv worked at PNC Financial Services as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in its Debt Capital Markets group. This upcoming summer, he will be joining William Blair as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in its Equity Capital Markets group. In his free time, Dhruv enjoys watching & playing sports, working out, traveling, and studying Hindu philosophy.

Adrian Shumov

Adrian is a junior Finance major and Statistics & Data Science minor who joined the Fund in the Fall of 2023. He previously covered Consumer Discretionary as an Associate Analyst and Information Technology as a Lead Analyst in the Fox Fund. In addition to the Owl Fund, Adrian is the Vice President of External Affairs for the Temple Finance Association. This past summer, he was a Private Equity Intern at NewSpring Capital within both Healthcare and Growth strategies. During his free time, he enjoys watching sports (Soccer, Basketball, Formula 1), learning chess, and exercising at the gym.

Owen Tracey

Owen is a Senior Finance major who joined the Fund in the Fall of 2022. He previously served two semesters in the Owl Fund as an Associate Analyst covering Information Technology and Consumer & Communications. Owen is currently an instructor in the Temple Finance Association's introductory course, Wall Street Boot Camp. After graduating, he will be returning full time to BNP Paribas as a High Yield Credit Analyst. Outside of school, Owen plays on the Temple Club Golf Team. In his free time, he enjoys watching Philly sports, spending time with family, and is actively involved in his church at home.

Steven Mandia

Steve is a senior Finance major who joined the Fund in the Fall of 2023 after serving two semesters in the Fox Fund covering Information Technology and Commodities. During the 2022-2023 academic year, Steve served TFA as a Co-Director of Community Service. This past summer, Steve interned at Morgan Stanley as an Investment Management Operations Analyst within the derivatives team. During the 2023-2024 academic year, Steve serves the TFA executive board as the Vice President of Internal Operations. In his free time, Steve enjoys weightlifting, playing basketball, watching Philly sports, exploring the city, and enjoying quality time with friends and family.

Luis Engleton-Sapon

Luis is a senior Finance and Real Estate dual major and Management Information Systems minor who joined the Fund in the Spring of 2023. While in the Fund, he served as an Associate Analyst on the Industrials team, worked as a Summer Portfolio Manager, and led the Consumer and Communication Services team. During his sophomore summer, Luis worked as an Acquisitions Intern for a Philadelphia real estate developer. Junior year, Luis interned at Barings on its Real Estate team in Charlotte, NC. After graduation, Luis will join Artemis Real Estate Partners as an Acquisitions & Asset Management Analyst in New York. In his free time, Luis enjoys watching European soccer, playing sports, and spending time with his family.

Anika Vilivalam

Anika is a junior Finance major who joined the Fund in the Spring of 2023. She previously covered Healthcare as an Associate Analyst before leading Financials & Real Estate. She also is the VP of Engagement for the Temple Finance Association. This summer, Anika interned at Glenmede on its Sustainability & Impact Investing team. Next summer, she will be interning at Citi in its Healthcare Investment Banking group. Outside of the Fund, she plays on the Temple Women’s Club Volleyball team. In her free time, Anika loves to read and watch Formula 1.

Financials & Real Estate Sector

Dhruv Patel

Dhruv is a junior Finance and Accounting double major who joined the Fund in the spring of his sophomore year. He first served as an Associate Analyst on the Healthcare team, then a Lead Analyst on the Information Technology team, and is currently the Lead Analyst on the Financials & Real Estate team. Along with the Owl Fund, Dhruv has been heavily involved with the Temple Finance Association, serving as the President for 2023-24 school year. Ronan Mulholland

Ronan is a sophomore Finance major serving his first semester in the Fund. Before joining the Owl Fund, he spent two semesters in the Fox Fund covering Information Technology as an Associate Analyst and Financials & Real Estate as a Lead Analyst. Outside of the Fund, Ronan serves as the Director of Student Outreach for Temple Finance Association and is a member of the Temple Club Golf Team. This coming summer, Ronan will be interning at Odyssey Capital Advisors as an Investment Analyst. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, watching Philly sports teams, and hanging out with friends.

Consumer & Communication Services Sector

Ethan Chheda

Ethan is a sophomore Finance and Management Information Systems double major. He previously covered the Commodities sector as an associate analyst. In addition to the Owl Fund, Ethan is the Co-Director of Community Service for the Temple Finance Association. Ethan will be part of Vanguard’s C2C Investment Management internship this coming summer. In his free time, he loves playing racquet sports, binge-watching TV shows and movies, and spending time with his family.

William McFadden

Will is a senior Finance major and Computer Science minor who joined the Fund in the Fall as an Associate Analyst on the Financials & Real Estate team and now serves as an Associate on the Consumer & Communication Services team. He previously covered Financials & Real Estate, and Information Technology in the Fox Fund as a Lead Analyst. In addition to the Owl Fund, he is the Director of Operations for the Temple Finance Association. This past summer, he interned at TD Bank in its Consumer Banking program. Outside of the Fund, Will enjoys listening to music, going to the gym, and watching the Eagles.

Justine Bennett

Justine is a sophomore Finance major and French minor who joined the Fund in the spring of 2024, covering Consumer and Communications Services. Previously, she covered Commodities as an Associate Analyst and Financials and Real Estate as a Lead Analyst in the Fox Fund. Following her freshman year, Justine studied abroad in Paris, studying the French language. Outside of the Fund, Justine enjoys going to concerts, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

Healthcare Sector

Aaron Acquah

Aaron is a senior Finance major who joined the Fund last spring as an associate on the Information Technology team. He previously led the Healthcare sector in the Fox Fund and last semester in the Owl Fund. Last summer, he covered Fintech and Video Games as an Equity Research intern at SVB MoffettNathanson. This summer, he will join Barclays Capital as a full-time Equity Research analyst. In his free time, he loves playing basketball, watching movies, and learning new things.

Luiz Lobo

Coming from Brazil as an international student, Luiz is a Sophomore Finance major who joined the Fund in the Spring of 2024. Prior to joining the Fund, he covered Financials & Real Estate as an Associate Analyst and Industrials as a Lead Analyst in the Fox Fund. In addition to the Owl Fund, Luiz serves as the Co-Director of Events for the Temple Finance Association. This past summer, he worked as a Capital Markets intern at RJ Investmentos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. During his free time, Luiz enjoys DJing, learning new recipes, traveling, attending music festivals, and playing grand strategy video games.

Information Technology Sector

Aryan Kalathiya

Aryan is an MIS & Finance dual major at Temple. He previously covered Industrials as an Associate Analyst and is currently covering Information Technology as a Lead Analyst. In addition, he serves as the Director of Student Outreach for the Temple Finance Association. Aryan is also an Associate Consultant at Optimize Consulting Group, a student-led IT consulting group within Temple AIS. During his freshman year, Aryan interned at Long Short Advisors. This upcoming summer, he will be joining PNC Capital Markets as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, learning geography, hiking, traveling, and trying new foods.

Connor Kelly

Connor is a sophomore Finance & Accounting double major serving his first semester in the Fund as an Associate Analyst on the Information Technology team. Connor spent two semesters in the Fox Fund covering Commodities as a Lead Analyst and Financials & Real Estate as an Associate Analyst. This upcoming summer, Connor will be interning at BLB&B Advisors as a Summer Wealth Management Analyst. Outside of the Fund, Connor is an active member of the Temple Finance Association, and the Director of Sales Education for the Professional Sales Organization. During his free time, Connor enjoys watching Philadelphia Sports, working out, and playing poker.

Industrials Sector

Adrian Shumov

Jameson is a sophomore Economics & Finance double major who joined the Fund last semester on the Information Technology team and is now spending his second semester on the Industrials team. Jameson spent one semester in the Fox Fund covering Financials & Real Estate. Outside of the Owl Fund, Jameson is the Co-Director of Operations for the Temple Finance Association, the Director of Finance for the Temple Economics Society, and the Fundraising Chair for the Temple Club Volleyball Team. In his free time, Jameson likes to ski, hang out with his friends, golf, and try new foods.

Commodities Sector

Aashmun Doshi

Aashmun is a sophomore Finance and MIS double major who joined the Fund in Fall 2023. Prior to joining the Fund, he covered Information Technology as an Associate Analyst and Consumer & Communication Services as a Lead Analyst in the Fox Fund. Outside the Owl Fund, Aashmun is an active member of the Temple Finance Association and Association for Information Systems. Over the summer, he served as a Summer Portfolio Manager for the Fund. and now covers Commodities as a Lead Analyst. In his free time, Aashmun likes to read and cheer for the New York Giants and Yankees.

Jerin Johnson

Jerin is a sophomore Finance major who joined the Fund in the Spring of 2024. He spent two semesters in the Fox Fund, initially as an Associate Analyst covering Industrials and later returning as a Lead Analyst covering the Consumer & Communication Services Sector. He is also actively involved in the Temple Finance Association, serving as the Director of University Relations. Outside of the Fund, he enjoys playing soccer, the guitar, and is a huge supporter of FC Barcelona.
