Ted Aronson, Managing Principal at AJO Partners
This week the TUIA is hosting Ted Aronson, Managing Principal at AJO Partners. Aronson Johnson Ortiz was established in 1984 and is located in Philadelphia. AJO is an institutional investment manager that manages tax-exempt, separate-account portfolios of value-oriented U.S equities. AJO currently has ninety clients and 19 billion dollars under management. Prior to founding AJO, Ted Aronson joined Drexel Burnham Investment Advisors, where he was a member of its Quantitative Equities Group. In the past Ted was chair of the CFA Institute and a Lecturer in Finance at The Wharton School. Currently, Ted is involved with portfolio management, administration, client service, and marketing; additionally, he is a trustee of Spelman College and chair of its investment committee. Ted is both a CFA charter holder and a Chartered Investment Counselor. Ted has both an MBA and BS from Wharton.
